Doha, Qatar: Friends of Kozhikode (FOK) gave a warm and affectionate send-off to Roshini Shabind, a long-time expatriate in Qatar and executive member of the organisation's women's wing.

FOK President K.K. Usman, Secretary Ranjith Chalil, Fareed Thikodi, M.V. Musthafa, Biju Kaivel, Riyas Babu, Suraj, Adv. Riyas, Siraj Siru, and Sajid Backer were present. Women's wing office bearers Fasina Shafeeq, Zeenath Ashraf, Deepthi Roopesh, Rashmi Sharat, Sayoojia Sooraj, Smeera Shaju, Ramla Basheer, Ramla Samad, and Shamla Sajid also spoke and extended their best wishes. The FOK Ladies Wing then presented a gift to Roshini.

In her response, Roshini commended the activities of FOK and expressed her gratitude for the heartfelt ceremony.
