Doha: IEI Qatar Chapter has been recognised as a community partner of Earthna Center for a Sustainable Future, receiving an appreciation certificate for its invaluable contributions to Qatar Sustainability Week 2025, organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change.

The
recognition reflects IEI Qatar Chapter's ongoing commitment to sustainability,
professional engagement, and support for national and global environmental
initiatives. Notably, the chapter has also organised several notable programmes
in collaboration with the Indian Business and Professionals Council (IBPC),
further strengthening cooperation between engineering professionals and the
business community in Qatar.
Earthna
Center for a Sustainable Future is a non-profit policy, research, and advocacy
organisation established by Qatar Foundation. It serves as a key platform for
sustainability action and climate thought leadership in Qatar and other hot and
arid regions.
The
awards ceremony was held on April 26, 2026, at the Qatar Foundation office.
Federation of Global Engineers (FGE) President Engineer Ahmed Jassim Al Jolo
received the certificate alongside IEI Qatar Chapter Chairman Engineer Abdul
Sattar. Executive committee members Engineer Paul Jacob (Executive Director,
Engineering & Facilities), Engineer Aravind K. Sharma (Corporate Quality
Manager), Engineer Aseem (HSE Engineer), and IEI panellist Engineer Baseeth
Ahmed (Director) also attended.
This recognition marks another significant milestone in IEI Qatar Chapter's ongoing efforts in engineering excellence, sustainability advocacy, collaborative partnerships, and community service.
