The
Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the 15-member India
squad for the Women's T20 World Cup 2026 on Saturday, with Harmanpreet Kaur
retaining captaincy and Smriti Mandhana as her deputy.
The
squad features star players including Jemimah Rodrigues, Shafali Verma, and
wicketkeeper Richa Ghosh. However, Amanjot Kaur misses out due to injury, while
batter Harleen Deol and spin-bowling all-rounder Sneh Rana are also absent from
the lineup.
The tournament will be held in England and Wales.
