Indian embassy expresses concern over Ras Laffan incident, offers assistance through helplines

Doha: The Embassy of India in Qatar has expressed deep concern over the incident that occurred at Ras Laffan Industrial City on the evening of June 21, 2026, which resulted in 54 injuries and 18 people still missing.

In a social media statement, the embassy said: "At this challenging and difficult time, the Embassy of India and the entire Indian community in Qatar stand in solidarity with the Government and people of Qatar." The embassy added: "We wish a speedy recovery to those injured and hope and pray for the safety of those who are missing."
