Railways Company has announced the suspension of Lusail Tram services from
Friday, June 26, 2026, until Sunday, July 5, to facilitate significant
improvement works across the network. The suspension is being implemented in
coordination with the Ministry of Transport as part of ongoing efforts to
enhance passenger services and improve tram network performance.
During
the suspension, replacement bus services will operate between Legtaifiya
station and Tarfat - South station to maintain service continuity. Existing
metroexpress and metrolink services, including a newly launched metrolink route
M154, will also operate to cover the area. Following the work, service in
at-grade sections of Lusail Tram will remain suspended as comprehensive
upgrades are carried out.
Qatar Rail advised customers to refer to guidance maps displayed at stations for replacement bus routes, nearest bus stop locations, and service frequencies, and to follow social media channels or contact the call centre (105) for the latest updates.
