Doha: Indian businesses made a strong impression at Project Qatar 2026, with the Kerala Business Forum (KBF), an affiliated organization of the Indian Business and Professionals Council (IBPC) Doha operating under the aegis of the Embassy of India, participating through a dedicated pavilion featuring 16 Indian-run companies from diverse and emerging sectors.

The KBF Pavilion was inaugurated by Indian Ambassador to Qatar, Mr. Vipul, who commended the growing contribution of Indian enterprises to Qatar's economic landscape. The pavilion highlighted the dynamism, innovation, and entrepreneurial strength of the Indian business community while reflecting the steadily expanding commercial relationship between India and Qatar. During his visit to the exhibition, the Ambassador also toured the Global B2B Network and BNI Qatar pavilions, interacting with exhibitors and reviewing a wide range of products and services on display.

The Indian presence at Project Qatar 2026 showcased a broad spectrum of industries, including artificial intelligence, information technology, cybersecurity, software development, digital solutions, sustainability initiatives, engineering and infrastructure services, construction and contracting, real estate, packaging, logistics, media, healthcare and medical supplies, automotive solutions, business consulting, and tourism and hospitality. The participation underlined the diversity and innovation footprint of Indian-owned enterprises operating in Qatar.

Among the companies featured under the KBF Pavilion were Planet Engineering, QPAC, iProcure, Momentum Media, and MP Traders, representing sectors such as AI and technology, engineering solutions, construction support services, packaging, printing, logistics, media, consultancy, and insurance.
