K. Mohamed Easa, senior KMCC leader and social activist passes away in Qatar

Doha: K. Muhammed Eesa (68), a distinguished Malayali businessman and a well-known figure in arts and social work, passed away on this morning (Wednesday) while undergoing treatment for pneumonia at Hamad Medical Corporation Hospital. A native of Kuttippuram, Malappuram, he was a highly respected leader in the expatriate community.

Eesa served as the General Manager of Ali International Group in Qatar and the Senior Vice President of Qatar KMCC, holding key positions in various organizations. He was deeply involved in the arts and sports scene in both Qatar and Kerala, making significant contributions as a football organizer, Mappila singer, and entertainer for over four decades.

Having arrived in Qatar in 1976 at the age of 19, he dedicated nearly 50 years to the Malayali expatriate community. His passing marks the end of an era for those who knew him as a passionate leader, cultural promoter, and social worker.
