Doha,
Qatar: Professor Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti, Director General of Katara
Cultural Village, officially inaugurated the "Elite Exhibition 2026"
yesterday at the Qatari Association for Fine Arts. The exhibition features a
curated selection of works from prominent Qatari artists, blending contemporary
styles with traditional heritage.
Visitors
can explore a diverse range of artistic expressions, including bold abstract paintings,
intricate marine-life studies, and pieces inspired by Qatari architectural
motifs like traditional wooden doors. The collection also features sculptures
in wood and bronze, alongside folk-art scenes that incorporate Arabic
calligraphy.
This latest initiative reinforces Katara's role as a primary destination for national creativity and cultural exchange, offering a platform for local talent to engage with both domestic and international audiences. The exhibition is currently open to the public at Building 13.
