Doha: The Ministry of Interior has urged users to extend or renew their on-arrival visas electronically through its website without the need to visit the General Directorate of Passports or service centres.

Applicants can complete the visa extension process online by visiting moi.gov.qa, selecting "Inquiries," then "Visa Services," followed by "Visa Extension" and "Inquiry and Extension." Users will be required to enter their visa details, with the system allowing inquiries using the ID number of the sponsor, representative, or authorised person.

Before proceeding, applicants must ensure they meet the required health insurance conditions, with a link provided to a list of approved health insurance companies. Once verified, users can select their preferred extension period, pay the applicable fees electronically, and complete the process online.
