Doha: Pravasi Welfare Kozhikode District Committee, in collaboration with Calicut Sports Club, is organising its first international volleyball tournament on Friday, June 5. The competition will begin at 1pm at the Hamilton International School indoor court in Mesaimeer.

Teams competing include Thanahoon Volleyball Club, Kinetic King, Team Tamil Nadu, MCC Qatar, Amigos Volleyball Club Qatar, Malabar Spikers, Thulukootta Qatar, and Evakh Legends. The tournament aims to strengthen friendship and unity within the expatriate community alongside the sporting competition.

The tournament's poster was unveiled at a ceremony held at QFM Studio. Attendees included tournament main sponsors Otrol Technologies General Manager Mohammed Arish, Dana Trading Projects representative Ajoy, ISC General Secretary Hamza Yousuf, QFM CEO Anwar Hussain, and organising committee members Raziq Narangoli, Abdurahim Vengeri, Majeed Aapatta, and Najmal T.
