Doha: Nadumuttam Qatar, a women's community group, organised a mehendi competition and a biryani cooking competition in connection with Eid Al-Adha celebrations. The event was held at Majaz Restaurant in Barwa Commercial Avenue, with many women from different parts of Qatar participating.

In the mehendi design competition, Shifna Muhammad secured first place, Aasiya Zaheer Sheikh won second place, and Umama Mahmood Alhasan secured third place.

In the biryani cooking competition, Nafeela Riyas secured first place, Usaira won second place, and Najiya Nasrin secured third place.

Representatives of the main sponsors, Gitko Group of Companies and Majaz Restaurant, distributed gifts to participants and winners.

Nadumuttam President Sana Naseem, Pravasi Welfare State Vice President Latha Krishna, Nadumuttam General Secretary Fathima Tasneem, Vice President Sajna Saki, Secretaries Jumana and Rajisha Pradeep, and other office bearers including Abida Abdullah, Jolly Thomas, Rinisha, Maya, Fousia Manaf, Fathima Haris, Sakina Abdullah, Raheena, Shajima, Ansalna, Nazriya, Bheema, Asma, Jameela Mammu, Ruby Anwar, Hiba Bashir, Rajula Shafeeq, Khamarunnisa, Faseela, and Soumya led the programmes.
