Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior (Mol) has warned the public about the risks posed by deepfakes and AI-generated content designed to impersonate individuals.
In a recent social media reminder, the Ministry emphasized important digital safety practices to mitigate AI-related threats, cautioning: “Not everything you see or hear is real.”
"Artificial intelligence (AI) technologies can be used to manipulate voices and videos to impersonate individuals. Always verify the source before trusting or sharing any content,” the ministry stated on social media.
