Qatar students win first place globally in "Myth Smashers" scientific and technological competition

Qatar has secured first place at the high school level in the prestigious scientific and technological competition "Myth Smashers", the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) announced in a statement. 

This event, organized in collaboration with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Austria, under the theme "Busting Myths in Nuclear Science." Qatar's winning team comprised students Fatima Al-Badr, Zainab Omar, and Sirine Amr from Um Hakeem Secondary School for Girls. 

This accomplishment is the result of the dedicated efforts of supervisors from the Science and Computer Technology Departments within the Educational Guidance Department of the Educational Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. Their collaboration with teachers from the Chemistry and Information Technology Departments at Um Hakeem Secondary School for Girls has been instrumental in achieving this success, as indicated in the statement from the Ministry.
