Indian School celebrated Teachers' Day 2026 with a series of special activities
over two days, on September 3 and September 5, providing students with an
opportunity to express their gratitude towards their teachers.
On
September 3, a special Teacher–Student Activity was conducted, where students
of Grades 11 and 12 took on the role of teachers for the day. The
student-teachers engaged students from Kindergarten to Grade 10 in various
classroom activities, developing leadership, communication, confidence, and
classroom-management skills while gaining a better appreciation of the teaching
profession.
On
September 5, teachers gathered at the Multipurpose Hall for the closing
ceremony. The Student Council from both the Forenoon and Afternoon Sessions
organised a two-hour programme featuring fun games, cultural performances,
dance, music, and other presentations dedicated to the teachers. President Mr.
Rasheed Ahmed and Principal Mr. Rafeeq Rahim conveyed their warm wishes and
appreciation for the teachers' commitment and contributions.
The celebration concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony and a special luncheon hosted by the school management as a gesture of appreciation and gratitude for the teachers' dedication.
