Young poet Hana Fatima's debut collection 'When the Quiet Finds You' unveiled in Doha

Doha: The first English poetry collection by Hana Fatima, a Class 12 student, When the Quiet Finds You, was officially launched in a grand event held at Aroma Darbar Hall. The book was released by M.E.S Indian School Principal Hameeda Kader and Radio Malayalam CEO Anwar Hussain. Speaking at the event, Hameeda Kader emphasized the significance of young writers who bring fresh perspectives and a deep sense of community to literature.




The event was jointly organized by Harmony Qatar and the Qatar Indian Authors Forum, with Authors Forum President Dr. Sabu K.C. presiding over the gathering. Writer and translator Hussain Kadannamanna presented the first copy to philanthropist Samad Manikoth, while young writer Sameeha Junaid conducted the book launch ceremony. Guests were honored with gifts presented by Muhammed Aslam and Jauhara, and a visual representation of the poems narrated by Ansar Arimbra captivated the audience.


Several prominent literary figures, including Habibur Rahman Kizhissery, Tayyiba Ibrahim, Suhail Wafi, Majeed Nadapuram, Sheena John, Muneer O.K, Hussain Vanimel, Faris Abdulkader, and Aisha Ghalib, shared their thoughts on the book and its impact. Tansim Kuttiadi welcomed the gathering, and Salahuddin delivered the vote of thanks. The event was coordinated by Salim Velam, Jamshid Hameed, Rabeeh Zaman, and Aslam, making it a memorable celebration of poetry and young literary talent.
