Evian: The
Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani attended the Group of Seven Summit in
the French Republic on Tuesday, at the invitation of HE President Emmanuel
Macron. The event took place at Hotel Royal in Evian-les-Bains, with heads of
state, heads of government, and senior officials from G7 member states and
invited countries in attendance.
HH
the Amir participated in a working session focused on ending crises and
ensuring stability in the Middle East, discussing ways to reinforce cooperation
and dialogue to consolidate regional and international stability alongside
ongoing efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and ensure the flow of
international navigation and commerce.
The session was attended by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and Chief of the Amiri Diwan HE Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi, along with members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir. Following the discussions, HH the Amir and his delegation attended a luncheon hosted by President Macron in honor of the attending heads of state and government.
