Hamad International Airport expands operations ahead of summer travel rush

Doha: Hamad International Airport has announced an expansion in flight operations ahead of the peak summer travel season as passenger movement continues to increase through Doha.

The airport said the expansion comes as Qatar Airways strengthens its global network along with 26 airline partners currently operating services to and from Doha. HIA noted that operations are continuing in coordination with relevant authorities and airline partners to ensure smooth travel during the busy season.

The airport confirmed that several airlines have already resumed or started operations in recent weeks. These include flydubai, Air Arabia, Oman Air, Royal Jordanian, Tarco Aviation, US-Bangla Airlines, Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Middle East Airlines, Nepal Airlines, Badr Airlines, Syrian Air, EgyptAir, Himalaya Airlines, Air India, Air India Express, Gulf Air, IndiGo, Ethiopian Airlines, Saudia and Kuwait Airways.

  • May 11, 2026: SriLankan Airlines.
  • May 12, 2026: Pegasus Airlines.
  • May 17, 2026: Kam Air.
  • May 19, 2026: Flynas.
  • July 1, 2026: Royal Air Maroc.
  • July 2, 2026: Malaysia Airlines.
