The Indian Cultural Centre (ICC), in association with the Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF), Indian Sports Centre (ISC) and Indian Business and Professionals Council (IBPC), organised a community reception honouring His Excellency Dr. K. Srikar Reddy, Ambassador of India to Qatar.

The reception was held on Monday, September 14, at ICC Ashoka Hall, bringing together representatives of the four apex bodies and various Indian community organisations.

ICC President A.P. Manikantan welcomed the gathering and delivered the felicitation message. ICBF President Shanavas Bava, ISC President E.P. Abdulrahman and IBPC President Thaha Muhammad also conveyed their greetings and best wishes to the Ambassador.

The four apex bodies jointly felicitated Ambassador Dr. K. Srikar Reddy and wished him a successful and fulfilling tenure in Qatar. Representatives of associated organisations also felicitated the Ambassador and extended a warm welcome.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. K. Srikar Reddy expressed his gratitude to the Indian community for the warm reception and welcome extended to him as he begins his tenure in Qatar.

The event was attended by Deputy Chief of Mission Sandeep Kumar and First Secretary (Education & Culture) Harish Pandey, along with members of the managing and advisory committees of ICC, ICBF, ISC and IBPC.

Presidents
of associated organisations, principals of Indian schools and senior members of
the Indian community also attended the reception. ICC General Secretary Abraham
K. Joseph proposed the vote of thanks.
The
gathering concluded on a warm note, with community leaders and representatives
expressing their readiness to extend full support to Ambassador Dr. K. Srikar
Reddy and the Embassy in further strengthening the longstanding ties between
India and Qatar and serving the Indian community.
