An Israeli airstrike on Wednesday resulted in the deaths of nine Palestinians at a police station in Gaza, according to medics. This incident occurred two days after US envoy Jared Kushner's visit to the region, which failed to advance Donald Trump's peace plan for the enclave.
Medics and police sources reported that several officers, including high-ranking officials, were among those killed at the municipal police headquarters, as confirmed by the Hamas-led interior ministry. In addition to the fatalities, fifteen others were wounded.
Earlier the same day, a separate Israeli airstrike in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza claimed the life of another Palestinian, bringing Wednesday's death toll to at least ten. The Israeli military stated that this strike was aimed at a Hamas militant but has not commented on the attack on the police station.
