Kuwait: Kuwait's air defence systems have been activated in response to hostile missiles and drones following threats from Iran, the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces has confirmed.

Authorities said any explosions heard in the country are likely the sound of air defence systems intercepting incoming targets. The military urged residents to remain calm and follow safety and security instructions issued by the relevant authorities.

Officials confirmed that drone shrapnel caused damage as Kuwait confronted the attacks. "Everyone is requested to adhere to the security and safety instructions issued by the competent authorities," the army stated.
