MoI highlights Metrash service allowing users to authorize relatives to activate application

Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has highlighted the new feature within the Metrash service that enables users to authorize their relatives, such as their spouse and children, to activate the Metrash application on their own devices, even if they do not possess a mobile number in Qatar.

In a post, the MoI explained, "Users can authorize their relatives to activate the Metrash application on their phones in case they do not own a phone number." To utilize this service, Metrash users need to navigate to 'Delegation' from the app's main menu, and then select 'Relative Registration.'

Subsequently, users are required to input necessary details, including the relative's QID number, QID expiry date, and the mobile number intended for registration. By selecting 'Add,' the process is completed, allowing the specified relative to use the mobile number to activate the Metrash application on their device.
