Doha, Qatar: Q Track Kalakudumbam, a cultural organisation formed with the aim of promoting artistic talents among the expatriate community, will organise the ‘Sallapasarigama’ music festival on Thursday, May 7, at I Back Restaurant near Gulf Cinema. The musical evening will begin at 6pm and is expected to feature a vibrant lineup of singers and performers from across the GCC region.

Renowned GCC singer Riyaz Kariyad will attend the event as the chief guest. The programme will feature performances by singers including Sarbeena Calicut, Riyaz Thrissur, E.V. Rahim and Shafiq Maliyekkal, who will present songs in various languages. Organisers said the event aims to provide a platform for talented artists within the expatriate community while promoting cultural unity through music.

Q Track Kalakudumbam, formed on July 11, 2025, is organising its fifteenth programme through this event. The organisation’s first programme, held at the Old Ideal Indian School Auditorium, featured performances by more than 60 singers. Along with cultural activities, Q Track has also been actively involved in charitable initiatives among its members and is planning to organise weekend musical evenings for workers in labour camps. The organisation is also preparing for a large-scale stage show featuring prominent singers in Qatar with free public entry.

The announcement was made during a press conference held at Curry Leaves Restaurant in the presence of Q Track President E.V. Rahim, General Secretary Sameer Soopy BM, Advisory Committee Chairman Ahmed Kutty, singer Sarbeena Calicut and Ajinas Kayakodi.
