Qatar Scientific Club launches second phase of Young Inventors Programme

Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Scientific Club has initiated the second phase of the Youth Inventors Program as part of a national initiative introduced by the Ministry of Sports and Youth during Web Summit Qatar 2026. The program aims to identify and nurture talented individuals aged 15 to 30 with interests in science, technology, and innovation.

Participants in this phase have already completed the mandatory first phase, known as the Design Thinking phase, which concluded on August 4. The current stage, the Engineering Design phase, spans three days and focuses on engineering design methods, technical drafting, and material selection. This phase is designed to help participants refine their broad ideas into detailed concepts and create tangible prototypes.

The final stage, the Project Implementation phase, is set to begin at the end of August. It will culminate with the winning students presenting their projects to a judging panel.
