Doha: Students India Qatar, an association of expatriate Malayali students, organized the "Siqaya Summer Sip" initiative in the Madinat Khalifa area. Volunteers distributed cold beverages and snacks to workers at various locations, benefiting hundreds of individuals.

Every year, 'Students India' hosts the 'Siqaya' initiative to offer support to outdoor workers during Qatar's intense summer heat. This initiative also aims to instill a sense of social responsibility and a spirit of service among students.

The event was led by the Students India Al Sadd and Madinat Khalifa unit office bearers, including Bilal Muhammed, Hamdan Mufeed, Dayyan Abdurahim, Danish, Muhammed Nafis, Aswab Abduljabbar, Ansaf Afsal, Adam Ramsheek, and Johan Muhammed, along with Zonal Coordinator Samad Kodinhi and CIC Zonal Vice President Mufeed Hanifa.

The organizers emphasized that such initiatives represent recognition and honor for the workers' unwavering dedication and hard work, as well as an expression of solidarity with them.
