Doha: UNIQ, the association of Indian nurses in Qatar, is all set to host a grand celebration for International Nurses Day 2025 on Friday, May 9, at the DPS Monarch School Auditorium.
The prestigious event will be
inaugurated at 3:00 PM by H.E. Mr. Vipul, the Ambassador of India to Qatar.
Distinguished guests including IBPC
President Mr. Thaha Muhammed, Chief
Nursing Officer of Hamad Medical Corporation Ms. Maryam Nuh Al Mutha,
nursing supervisors from various healthcare institutions, and prominent leaders
of Indian community organizations in Qatar will grace the occasion.
One of the key highlights of the
celebration will be the official launch
of the UNIQ Mobile Application, developed over several months by the UNIQ Media Team. The app aims to
empower and support Indian nurses in Qatar across professional, social, and
personal domains. The launch will be carried out by the Indian Ambassador.
The program will also feature vibrant cultural performances by
Indian nurses working in various hospitals in Qatar, along with participation
from their families. As part of the festivities, winners of the drawing and coloring competitions—organized for
Indian nurses and their children—will be honored with prizes.
The evening will conclude with a musical night by UNIQ Beats, the
official music band formed by Indian nurses in Qatar, promising an entertaining
finale to the celebration.
The UNIQ Managing Committee has extended an open invitation to all Indian nurses in Qatar and their families
to be a part of this special celebration. The details were shared during a
press conference addressed by UNIQ
President Mr. Luthfi Kalamban, Advisory
Chairman Mr. Vimal Padmalayam Vishwam, Treasurer Mr. Dileesh Bhargavan, Program Committee Lead Ms. Dhanya, and Media Wing Lead Mr. Ajmal Shams.
