Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, is set to conclude his role as a special government employee within the US President Donald Trump administration. This decision follows his 130-day engagement at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). 

In a statement shared on his social media platform, X, Musk expressed gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to reducing wasteful spending, ""As my scheduled time as a Special

Government Employee comes to an end, I would like to thank President Donald

Trump for the opportunity to reduce wasteful spending."

He further emphasized the enduring impact of the DOGE initiative, stating, “The DOGE mission will only strengthen over time as it becomes a way of life throughout the government.”
