Air
India and Air India Express have announced the resumption of flight services to
and from Qatar, with multiple sectors connecting Doha to key Indian cities
reopening in phases starting May 1, 2026. The services are now open for
booking, offering renewed connectivity for passengers traveling between Qatar
and India.
Kozhikode -
Doha
The Kozhikode - Doha - Kozhikode sector will resume operations effective May 1,
2026. Flight IX 375 will depart Kozhikode at 10:35 and arrive in Doha at 12:20,
while return flight IX 376 will leave Doha at 13:20 and reach Kozhikode at
20:20.
Delhi - Doha
From May 2, 2026, Air India will restart services on the Delhi - Doha - Delhi
route. Flight AI 2283 will depart Delhi at 22:20 and arrive in Doha at 00:05,
while AI 2284 will operate from Doha at 01:00, landing in Delhi at 07:10.
Doha - Cochin
Air India Express will resume flights on the Doha - Cochin - Doha sector from
May 5, 2026. Flight IX 478 will depart Doha at 04:30 and arrive in Cochin at
12:15, while IX 477 will leave Cochin at 00:05 and reach Doha at 03:30.
Airlines have
encouraged passengers and travel agents to begin bookings, and advised
monitoring official Air India and Air India Express platforms for further
updates on additional service resumptions.
