Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has launched a training program titled "Leadership in Crises Using Virtual Reality (VR)". Managed by the Human Resources Department, the initiative uses immersive simulations to develop quick thinking and decisive judgment in high-pressure environments.

The current phase, running from April 26 to 30, 2026, is dedicated to 15 female leaders, including department heads and heads of Quran memorization centers. The program is scheduled to expand to male leaders in May 2026.

This project marks the ministry's first use of VR in leadership training, shifting from traditional methods to interactive solutions for risk analysis, emergency assessment, and team management.
