Doha:
Qatar Airways has announced that it will reinstate daily services to Bahrain
(BAH) and Kozhikode (CCJ), India, starting May 1, 2026. This move is part of
the airline's ongoing effort to restore its global network, which now serves
key markets across six continents.
The
resumption follows the airline's recent return to other regional destinations,
including daily flights to Dubai and Sharjah as of April 23, and the scheduled
return of services to Damascus on May 1. These additions aim to provide
travelers with enhanced connectivity and more flexible travel options
throughout the Middle East and Asia.
In
light of the expanded schedule, Qatar Airways has introduced a flexible booking
policy. Passengers holding tickets issued by April 30, 2026, for travel between
February 28 and September 15, 2026, are eligible for complimentary date changes
for travel through October 31, 2026. Alternatively, travelers can opt for a
full refund of the unused ticket value.
The airline continues to advise passengers to monitor official channels for the latest flight status and to ensure their contact information is up to date, as schedules remain subject to operational and regulatory adjustments.
