The DPS Group of Institutions successfully conducted its first DPS Convergence 2026, a joint Continuous Professional Development programme for over 400 teachers from DPS Modern Indian School and DPS Monarch International School. Held from August 23 to 26, 2026, the four-day convergence brought educators together under the theme "One Vision, Shared Expertise, Endless Possibilities."
The initiative was envisioned and spearheaded
by Ms. Asna Nafees, Group Academic Advisor, whose commitment to collaborative
learning and professional excellence made the landmark convergence possible.
The programme commenced at DPS Monarch
International School and concluded with a closing ceremony at DPS Modern Indian
School. Nearly 76 trainers and resource persons conducted engaging sessions, providing
approximately 20 hours of professional learning, in line with the emphasis
placed on CPD by CBSE and MOEHE.
The opening and closing ceremonies were graced by Mr. Yasir Nainar, Chairman, DPS Group of Institutions; Mr. George Thomas, Vice Chairman and President, DPS Modern Indian School; and Mr. Rocky Fernandes, President, DPS Monarch International School. Ms. Asna Nafees, the Academic Advisor for the group, thanked the management, leadership teams, and educators for the excellent collaboration that led to a valuable learning opportunity for all group school teachers.
