On Wednesday, hundreds of colonists stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, protected by Israeli occupation forces. According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, eyewitnesses reported that the colonists entered the mosque compound through the Mughrabi Gate, conducted provocative tours, and performed Talmudic rituals. This incident coincided with the second day of the Jewish Sukkot holiday.
Since the onset of a comprehensive Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank in October 2023, over 68,000 colonists have stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque under Israeli protection. This has occurred amid increased entry restrictions to the mosque and the Old City's entrances.
