US President Donald Trump revealed plans to travel to Cairo and Jerusalem to precede the agreement that halted strikes on Gaza.

Trump stated that he would meet with "a lot of leaders from all over the world" who have been invited to a ceremony in Cairo celebrating the deal between Israel and Hamas, according to a Bloomberg report.

Additionally, the president intends to address the Knesset, Israel's unicameral legislature, to mark the agreement, which is anticipated to end the two-year-old armed conflict in the region.

Expressing optimism, Trump said, "I think it will hold. They're all tired of the fighting," referring to the ceasefire's potential to last and the rebuilding of Gaza.
