Doha: Telangana Gulf Samithi (TGS) Qatar, an affiliate organisation of the Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) under the aegis of the Embassy of India, Qatar, successfully conducted a free medical camp in association with Naseem Healthcare Center on Friday, September 18, at the C Ring Road branch in Doha. More than 300 workers benefited from the free medical services provided during the camp, organised as part of TGS Qatar’s continued commitment to the health, welfare and social well-being of the Indian expatriate community, particularly workers in Qatar.

The programme began with a welcome address by Shankar Goud, Founder Member of Telangana Gulf Samithi Qatar, who highlighted the organisation’s longstanding commitment to community service and worker welfare. TGS President Mrs. Madhu delivered the presidential address and expressed appreciation to the medical team, community leaders, volunteers and workers whose support contributed to the success of the initiative.

The event was attended by several prominent community leaders and representatives, including ICBF President Shanavas Bava, BWI General Secretary Ambit Younis, ICBF Advisor Chairman Prasad Rao, ICBF General Secretary Deepak Shetty, ICBF MC Member Manibharathi, ICC MC Members Nandini and Ravindra Prasad, Venkappa, ISC Vice President Shithendra Palu, ISC MC Member Somaraju, TKS Vice President Satyam, TJQ President Praveen Prakash, ISC President Sridhar Goud, Doha Meditation President Chudamani, AKV General Secretary Soumya, TKS Advisory Chairman Harish Reddy, TPS Advisory Member Bhumesh P., ICC Past General Secretary Kumar, ICBF Past MC Member Nirmala Guru, ICC Youth MC Member Vinod P., and INCAS Youth President Deepak, along with other community representatives.

Mr. Zakir, Branch Manager of Naseem Surgical & Medical Center, along with the Naseem Healthcare medical team, provided valuable cooperation and professional support for the camp. The initiative was supported by the TGS leadership and organising team, including Vice President Yellaiha Bandapelli, General Secretary Sandhya Rani and MC members Sagar Durgam, Rajeshwar, Manohar, Gaddi Raju and Yellaiha Thallapelli.

The TGS Youth Wing played an active role in coordinating the programme. Youth MC members Mukundam, Sudhakar, Praveen Cheruku, Prasad, Raju Mothe, Raj Goud, Thirupathi, Srinivas Mothe and Yadagiri Goud, along with volunteers Tejas and Shreedhyeksh, contributed to the smooth conduct of the camp. The programme was anchored by Kaya Buruda, who coordinated the proceedings effectively.

Speaking on the occasion, TGS representatives expressed their gratitude to Naseem Healthcare Center, ICBF, participating community organisations, distinguished guests, medical professionals, volunteers and workers for their support and participation. TGS Qatar reiterated that community welfare, worker support and accessible healthcare remain among its key priorities and said it would continue to organise similar service-oriented initiatives in the future.
